We are very proud of our tradition and remember all of the following pupils for their positive contributions to the school.

Danny Skinner Swimming Cup

In memory of Danny Skinner who attended our school and died aged 13 after suffering from cystic fibrosis. The cup is awarded for achievement in swimming and children are nominated by the coaches at the pool.

Vicky Goddard Kindness Cup

In memory of Vicky Goddard who died, whilst still at our school, of cancer at the age of 8. Children are nominated for acts of kindness by all the other children in school.

The Sparling Trophy

To commemorate the achievement of the Sparling children and Hilary Sparling's time as Chair of Governors at Sherwin Knight Junior School. Children are nominated for their contribution to the school by staff.

Head Boy and Head Girl

Chosen from Year 6 children. All staff participate in nominating children who epitomise everything positive about Sherwin Knight Junior School.
